Riskynet Summer Treasure Hunt

#1

Post by Riskynet » Sat Apr 26, 2014 6:00 pm

This summer I will be searching for treasures at different garage and yard sales around Northern Ontario and posting them here in this thread. I will have a description, photo, price I paid, and location of the items. You let me know if it's a treasure that I found or if I got screwed. Maybe will have a bit of fun with this thread.

Ok, I brought the wife with me at a yard sale in Smooth Rock Falls on Ross St. Anyway I didn't find anything worthwhile to buy, but the wife got this fancy planter with a bird nest in it. It looks like it was crafted with items from Michael's and whoever put it together did a good job.

Cost $5

Is this a treasure or junk ?

I think this first item may be a treasure depending on your décor.

Just visited a garage sale at 315 Main St. in Smooth Rock Falls and bought a Black and Decker 25ft autotape. It's in mint condition and looks almost brand new. I posted a small video demonstration to show everyone how it works.

Price paid : $3.00

Treasure or Junk ?

Ok, today I visited a mega garage sale at the Legion in Smooth Rock Falls to support their membership. Anyway, there was over 1000 item and lots of seekers for the hot items that they had, so you had to be quick.

Let me know what you think......Treasure or Junk.

This is what I bought :

Item 1 : Weed Eater gas grass trimmer in mint condition.

Price : $5.00
