She may not have been born here, but wouldn't "Princess" Maggie Johnston be worthy of mention?

I do remember it. It later became Jade Garden Buffet. I remember when it was On's they took MSG out of their food but later added it back!!! Only in Timmins. They were also known for serving beer to minors. Beer was only about $1.50 (early 1990s) there I think and a lot of high school kids would get smashed there.
