Maybe its just a coinky-dink but this laptop has been slow as hell since installing Windows 10. I'm ready to revert back to 7. [angry

Only have 30 days to do so after upgrading BTW.

Gotta be user error.... The vast majority of folks who upgraded are reporting better performance.

You might need to reset your PC. Your upgrade might not have been the smoothest. AVG going missing could be a sign of that.

Depending on the one you choose, yes. It's like formatting but you don't need the DVD and such. That started in Windows 8.

True. Gonna list what I have on here and make sure I have the needed cd's and whatnot to re-install stuff. Sounds like work but, I might give it a try later.

Only for 30 days after you install Windows 10. If you use the rest option, you can not revert.

What kind of laptop do you have?

The way you describe it and its speed, sounds like one of these...

Kramer is correct. Install Win7, activate it then get the Win10 upgrade tool or do it through Windows update. The only driver you need that early is the ethernet or wifi one, if it isn't already detected and installed during the Windows setup.

That's the things with Windows. There are 234254 ways to do just about everything. :p
