Unless someone else took that picture, it looks like you DID get out of there. Crisis averted.

Oh, snow was above the bottom of my door but, I used what little strength I have left to force my way out into the Acrtic like temperatures.

We have snow too...a whole 4 or 5 cms worth. Another 2 to 4 starting tonight into tomorrow. Not bad considering we haven't had to move snow since late February last year.

Currently -11 with a windchill of -20.

Going back to the plus side before the weekend though.

He is dreaming of the day he wins the lotto and has a new pickup parked there. Of course by that time he'll be really old and the MTO will have taken away his license [snicker

Weather WARNINGS, WATCHES and statements from Env. Canada - tT official thread

Post #2215 by Captain Steubings » Thu Jan 14, 2016 6:45 pm

Special weather statement in effect for:

Little Abitibi - Kesagami Lake

Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls

Significant snowfall on the way.

An Alberta Clipper is expected to pass by over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay Friday then into the Ottawa Valley area or Southwestern Quebec Friday night, bringing a large area of snow with it.

Latest indications suggest a total of 10 to 20 cm of snow across much of the area Friday and Friday night. The snow may become mixed with ice pellets or freezing rain near Northern Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Driving conditions are expected to quickly deteriorate Friday once the snow arrives.

Environment Canada is closely monitoring this situation. Snowfall warnings may be required as this event draws closer.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #ONStorm.

I know what you are getting at but are way off. It's a STATEMENT - meaning this is probably going to affect Timmins-Cochrane a bit, kind of like just-so-you-know scenario.
