This is the first and only model that I have made to date. It is of my house.

Thanks but I had some help from the google groups people so I can't take all the credit. I'll make more later but I have to take more photos before the end of summer because snow gets in the way of the picture.

i wish google earth would have better pics of South Porcupine and Porcupine... whats Google... supported by Timmins lol

I think that Google earth updates the quality depending on the number of requests for a specific area. eg- Attawapiskat has a phenominal graphic and satellite shot, probably because of the requests since the diamond strike. Even Timmins downtown now has better resolution than it did a year back.

Yah I made it in google sketchup which is a free product from google. Maybe if we post enough 3D buildings, they'll have to have a more recent shot!

Microsoft Virtual Earth has some closer views of some areas where Google Earth doesn't. Specifically South Porcupine in our area.
