Now that's something you don't see very often. I used to go to that location when I worked in Kap during my previous job. It was nice inside that one. That location wasn't open 24 hours. I'm not surprised given the state of Kap's economy. The KFC closed a year or two ago as well.

One other strange Tims closure was in Malartic, Quebec between Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or. Their only Tims closed about 7 or 8 years ago when the town wasn't doing very well. Not long after, the price of gold skyrocketed and the town was booming because of gold mining. A whole bunch of other businesses opened including McDonald's and Subway but there still is no Tim Hortons.

Did that location have a drive-thru? There was one just a few blocks up the road from here and it closed a couple of years ago. It can be seen on older Street View captures but it is gone and that space is still closed.

Lack of drive-thru and probably not worth the investment to refurbish the entire inside at that particular location.

This timmie had everything, drive-thru and newly renovated also close to the main mall and right in front of the high school.... location wasn't an issue.

Our Timmies in the Wal Mart location just closed. Heard that its lease was up and the owners just shut it down as there was not enough business. They have two other locations in town.

Maybe things aren't as rosy as they used to be at T.H. Makes one wonder if the market is starting to change now. With the McCafe things at McDs, Keurig, Tassimo, numerous other coffee shops with all kinds of coffee or coffee-related products isn't taking a toll on them a bit. [think

I'm pretty sure that Tims has hit its peak. This company that now owns it owns Burger King which has done very poorly in recent times. I find it a convenient place to go to for lunch sometimes but nothing there is really great to eat.

Lots of people on Facebook are saying that the building itself had major issues with the foundation.
